this song, in it’s very first form, was actually created for a uni assignment. ‘create a song that is driven by a riff’! at the time, I was quite stressed, overwhelmed, anxious, a lot going on in my head. My foggy brain was working overtime. Even more so than normal. Thoughts spinning around and around and around with no end. My favorite line in the song and the first line I came up with is ‘clean my brain and hang it up to dry’, which I think encapsulates the whole track, and how it feels to experience the world when there’s a filter of exhaustion hanging over you. on autopilot. on your phone brain rot scrolling. like, whatever, I’ll just stick my head in the washing machine."
